eatHalal is a platform that helps users discover halal restaurants, verify halal certification status, and contribute community reviews and photos. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for informational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User-Generated Content

By submitting content to eatHalal (restaurant submissions, photos, notes, or reviews), you:

• Grant eatHalal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content on the platform.
• Represent that you own the content or have the right to share it.
• Agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is inappropriate without notice.

5. Halal Information Disclaimer

eatHalal aggregates halal certification data from recognized certifying agencies and community contributions. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that any restaurant's halal status is current or correct. Certification status can change at any time. Users should independently verify halal compliance before dining, especially if they have strict dietary requirements.

6. Restaurant Owners

Restaurant owners may claim their listing by contacting us at claim@eathalal.com. Claimed listings may be updated with accurate information. We reserve the right to display publicly available information about any restaurant regardless of claim status.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the Service without written permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Submit false or misleading halal information.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.

8. Intellectual Property

The eatHalal name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Full Stack Consulting LLC. You may not use our branding without written permission. Restaurant data displayed on the platform may be sourced from third-party APIs and is subject to their respective terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Full Stack Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on halal status information displayed on the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
